IT-alert, test continues in Aosta Valley and Veneto. Lazio is postponed
The IT-alert test in the Lazio region scheduled for tomorrow, 21 September, has been postponed due to the yellow alert for rainstorms foreseen over the region. The test dates, as planned, could possibly vary in case the regional civil protection systems are active for alerts in the days of the test or for emergency situations. The new date will be published on www.it-alert.gov.it
The test is confirmed for tomorrow in Aosta Valley and Veneto.
On 21 September, at around 12 PM , an IT-alert test message will arrive on the mobile phones switched on and with a mobile connection of people in Val d'Aosta and Veneto or in the neighbouring areas of these regions.
After receiving the test message, or should the message not be received, it will be possible to access the homepage of www.it-alert.gov.it and fill out the questionnaire.
The data collected - to date, almost 2 million questionnaires have been filled out and processed anonymously - are of fundamental importance to assess the causes of the main problems reported, allowing mobile phone operators to investigate and review the message sending process, the behaviour of telephone cells and their coverage, and the behaviour of devices such as phones, tablets and smart watches.
The next regional tests will continue according to the following schedule:
- 26 September in Abruzzo and the Autonomous Province of Trento
- 27 September in Liguria
- 13 October in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano
- Lazio - new test date to be defined
