IT-Alert, last territorial test in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano on 13 October
More than 2.5 million survey questionnaires have been completed since the start of the trial in June
The test held yesterday, Wednesday, 27 September, in the regions of Lazio and Liguria almost concluded the testing phase in the territories of IT-alert, the public warning system that Italy is adopting, which since June of this year has touched all Italian regions with an activity that directly involved the population.
The next and last appointment in the territories is set for 13 October 2023 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, where, with the same modalities as in the previous tests, the test message will arrive around noon on the mobile phones that are switched on and connected of those in the target area.
During these months, the regional tests allowed citizens to become familiar with the new public alarm system, and with their cooperation, 2,676,323 surveys were collected. The data - collected and processed anonymously - already allowed targeted actions to be taken on the system's functionality, the improvement of which was monitored in the tests from June to date.
In the following weeks, the indications provided by citizens through the questionnaires will be analyzed in detail and used to optimize the service, given the IT-alert operativity currently planned for February 2024.
