IT-alert

After the latest test on 21 September 2023 in Valle d'Aosta and Veneto, the following IT-alert regional test dates are planned for September 26 and 27.

On Tuesday, 26 September, at around noon, an IT-alert test message will reach the mobile phones of those in Abruzzo, the Autonomous Province of Trento, and surrounding areas. The test will be repeated the following day, Wednesday, 27 September, in the same way and at the same time in Lazio and Liguria. Initially, the test in Lazio was scheduled for 21 September but was postponed due to the yellow alert for storms expected in the region on that day.

Meanwhile, more than 2.5 million completed and anonymously processed surveys - since the testing began last June - are being analyzed in detail to verify the causes of the central and recurring problems reported, allowing mobile phone operators to investigate and review the sending process, the behavior of phone cells and their coverage, and the functioning of devices such as phones, tablets, and smartwatches.

During the tests on 26 and 27 September, it will be possible to fill in the appropriate survey from the home page of https://www.it-alert.it/en/, contributing to the implementation of the system and reporting any malfunctions. Those in the test area at around noon will not receive an IT-alert notification and can also fill it out to report this failure.
